Barbara Ginty
Having previously worked for Bloomberg and Credit Suisse in electronic equity derivative algo sales, Barbara is now the owner of a wealth management firm she purchased from her family in 2013. In 2018 she was chosen for the, “The American College of Financial Services Millennial Financial Services Professional Award”. In 2019, she was selected for Investment News 40 under 40. In 2020, Future Rich, the podcast was selected by NextAdvisor as one of the 10 Best Finance Podcasts for 2021. In 2022, she was recognized by Forbes as a "Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-In-State" for New York. Additionally, she was named to Top 100 Most Influential Money Experts by Go Banking Rates in 2022 and 2023. In, 2023 she won Reader’s choice for Top Money Expert, beating Dave Ramsey.
Additionally, she teaches personal finance classes for SUNY Ulster and also collaborates with companies to teach personal finance as an employee benefit.
